Olympic gold medallist Hannah Scott has reflected on the “tough” and often misunderstood decision she faced in choosing to represent Team GB, saying it is a dilemma “not many athletes in the world will ever have to navigate”.
The Coleraine-born rower (26), who won gold in Paris last year, posted what she described as a “scary” and long-considered message on social media this week, setting out publicly for the first time the thinking behind her choice.
