A lot of Chelsea supporters are taking their anger out on Tosin Adarabioyo following their side’s 3-1 loss to Leeds United on Wednesday.

It was Adarabioyo’s mistake that led to Chelsea conceding their third goal of the night.

It ended any hope the Blues had of launching a comeback, which looked possible after Pedro Neto’s goal in the 50th minute.

Very clever finish! Is Pedro Neto Chelsea’s best attacker right now?

However, the winger is refusing to put all of the blame on his teammate.

As you would expect, Neto has not singled out Adarabioyo or any other individual in the Chelsea dressing room for their side’s latest defeat.

Instead, the 25-year-old thinks the whole team have to answer for the poor showing at Elland Road.

Speaking to Chelsea’s official club website after the game, Neto said: “Today we have to take responsibility, all of us. Sometimes this happens. We are human. We’ve had a really good month; it’s just a bad day. If you ask the players, everyone wants to win every game, but it can happen.

The Portuguese also had a message for his teammates ahead of Saturday’s game against Bournemouth, telling them that they all have to learn from the Leeds loss.

He added: “We have to learn from this. Now it’s time to turn our focus to Bournemouth and setting things right on Saturday.”

Going forward, Chelsea were not that bad in the second half. Neto grabbed their only goal after a good bit of wing play from Jamie Gittens.

Neto has never scored against Bournemouth, but with the form that he is in right now, that could change this weekend.

Neto may have a point; you cannot solely blame Adarabioyo for Chelsea’s defeat. They had already conceded two goals before his error. That centre-back partnership with Benoit Badiashile just did not work out, which means the Frenchman and Enzo Maresca also need to take a lot of the blame.

Ultimately, Chelsea’s whole backline was probably why they lost, while Leeds also put in a high-level performance.

The whole team can be disappointed with their performance, but it is quite clear that, as a unit, the defence cost them. Against Bournemouth, Chelsea are going to have to be way more solid if they want to bounce back with a win.
