A Scottish flight was forced to make a priority landing following an alleged assault on a cabin crew member during an in-flight ‘fight’.
Upon landing in Tenerife, the crew on the Edinburgh flight requested medical aid and police intervention. As per air traffic control reports on X, a scuffle broke out mid-flight, during which a cabin crew member was purportedly assaulted.
The incident is believed to have occurred on a Jet2 flight.
The post on X read: “Incident on board a flight from Edinburgh arriving in South Tenerife. The crew requests medical assistance and police presence upon arrival for a fight where, apparently, they would have assaulted the TCP. We cut the approach to the maximum with priority.”, reports the Mirror.
