Kirsten, who scored 7289 Test runs and 6798 ODI runs across 101 Tests and 185 ODIs, brings extensive coaching experience from his stints with India – who won the 2011 World Cup under him – South Africa, and most recently Pakistan. He has also coached in the IPL and was part of the coaching setup when Gujarat Titans lifted the trophy in their inaugural season in 2022.
