The FA Cup third round draw is always a much-anticipated event, with Premier League and Championship teams joining the fray and lower-league clubs dreaming of a high-profile match. Everton and Liverpool will learn their first opponents as both clubs aim to win the famous trophy.
The third round will feature 64 teams, combining the top two divisions with the 20 second round victors. The draw will include at least two sixth-tier clubs due to a pair of all-non-league matches this weekend.
Slough Town will face Macclesfield in one of the non-league showdowns on Sunday afternoon. National League team Boreham Wood, along with Gateshead and Carlisle United, are also aiming to spring surprises in their respective ties today (Sunday).
