Police are investigating a double stabbing near Birmingham city centre that resulted in two people being injured during an early morning brawl. Two men sustained serious injuries when violence erupted in the Summer Lane area, bordering Hockley and the city centre, on the morning of Saturday, December 6.

The scene was marred by mystery as two vehicles, including a yellow Lamborghini Urus valued at approximately £200k, and a black Skoda, were found damaged after an apparent collision The vehicles remained within the police cordon for about 12 hours following the major disturbance, which occurred around 5am.

Eight people, including six men and two women aged between 19 and 25, were arrested in connection with the incident., reports Birmingham Live.

The force is currently seeking information relating to the incident and has urged anyone with relevant details to contact them.

West Midlands Police issued a full statement saying: “We were called to the area of Summer Lane, Birmingham at around 4.50am (on December 6) after two men in their 20s sustained stab wounds.”

They added: “They have both been taken to hospital with serious injuries and are in a stable condition.”
