ITV Good Morning Britain was paused earlier today as hosts shared some breaking Prince Harry news.
Today (December 8), Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid were in charge of presenting the show, with the former host suddenly halting the programme for an update regarding King Charles’ youngest sun.
He shared the news that the Prince could be getting his armed protection back when he comes to visit the UK, which could mean a major change for the King.
Richard said: “Breaking news this morning that Prince Harry may get his armed protection back when he comes to the UK.

“It could mean that the King is reunited with his grandchildren for the first time in three years.”
Richard and Susanna were also joined by Ranvir Singh this morning, who spoke to correspondent, Richard Gaisford, who revealed there there is a suggestion that regular reviews are made regarding the security of high profile individuals in Britain, the Express reported.
He explained: “It may be that word has come down that relations are thawing amongst members of the Royal Family and it would be useful to have Prince Harry back with his family as well.”
Richard claimed that this review may be particularly helpful for King Charles, as it could potentially open up scope for a possible reunion between Charles and his grandchildren.
It has been alleged that the lack of security in Harry’s mind “certainly was the reason why he has not been bringing them here from California.”
Following Harry’s departure from life as a working royal in 2020, the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) took away his 24-hour protection.
The Duke of Sussex has previously alleged that he didn’t believe it was safe to bring Meghan Markle or his young children to Britain if they did not have security.

Earlier this year, Harry took this situation to the Hugh Court, ultimately losing the battle to what he blamed was an “establishment stitch-up.”
However, the Sun was now reported the Home Office may have had a change of heart and has ordered a new review of the Harry’s security situation.
It has been claimed the Home Office could come to a conclusion on this matter by next month.
If the official body decides it is necessary for the Prince to have the protection, the price of this will be funded by the taxpayer whenever he returns to the UK.
