The ticket prices for the BRIT Awards have been announced as a pre-sale opportunity began this morning, which is understood to have been met with an initial overwhelming demand from fans.
The prestigious awards ceremony will be taking place in the city next February for the first time in BRITs history. For the last 48 years, it has been held in London. The 2026 event will take place at Co-op Live on February 28 and will feature a newly-designed trophy, from Matthew Williamson, paying homage to Manchester’s worker bee mascot.
Last week, it was announced that tickets for the event would be going on sale on Tuesday (December 9) with an earlier pre-sale for Co-operative Members taking place this morning (December 8) from 10am. However, some fans said they were initially unable to select tickets as they tried to book a spot to the ceremony right as the pre-sale was listed to begin.
According to Ticketmaster, standard admission tickets for the event – situated in the Level 3 area – are priced from £109.95 each before booking fees. These were the only tickets available during the pre-sale, but it is understood there will be standing tickets available to purchase at general sale.
Some people said they could not purchase tickets via the pre-sale at 10am. The M.E.N. has reached out to the BRITs, Co-op Live and Ticketmaster for more information. A source has confirmed there were no on-site issues with the pre-sale, however it was met with overwhelming demand for tickets at the beginning.

Taking to X, one person posted: “another presale that I have registered for and not been able to access.” One other asked: “Did anyone manage to get a Brit awards ticket?” Making light of their situation, one person commented: “Most of the front rows were already empty when I got in.” Another said: “Seriously gave up with presales, was on well before 10am and still couldn’t access.”
Another commented: “Straight in the queue since before 10am and onto the site at 10:02 and no Wheelchair Access tickets available at all. In fact, barely any tickets available whatsoever!” One person simply said: “No tickets available.” Another shared a screenshot of a message saying ‘unfortunately, we couldn’t load the Interactive Seat Map’, adding: “Waiting in the queue and this is all I get”. Others were able to access a seated map, however it was completely greyed out with no ticket options available.
However, as of 10.30am, tickets were easily available online in the form of Section 300+ seated access, with a large number of people then sharing delight at getting a spot for the huge ceremony. One person wrote: “Brit Awards in Manchester booked! Going to be unreal.” Another said: “GUESS WHO’S GOING TO THE BRIT AWARDS.” One other wrote: “Brit awards here I come.”

According to Ticketmaster, there will be a number of rules in place for BRIT Awards 2026 tickets. Younger fans wanting to get tickets for the BRIT Awards 2026 will only be able to get seated tickets. The ticket platform said all under-16s will need to be accompanied by an adult, whilst the standing area will only be open to those aged over 16. A maximum of four tickets per person and per household will also apply.
Ticketmaster has warned that anyone who exceeds the limit could have their tickets cancelled. Accessible tickets will also be available, with a policy in place which will allow one free companion ticket for each accessible ticket purchased. Those requiring more than one essential companion should reach out to the Co-op Live directly.
The BRIT Awards general sale will begin on Tuesday (December 9) at 10am via Ticketmaster. The event will take place at Co-op Live on Saturday, February 28, 2026 and will also be broadcast on ITV and ITVX.
