SHEFFIELD can confirm details for their Bank Holiday Monday (May 5) double against Belle Vue.
Following the Tru7 Group Tigers’ ROWE Motor Oil Premiership afternoon (12 noon) clash in Manchester, the two sides will dash back to the Steel City where turnstiles will open at 5pm for a 6.30pm start.
Those 15 races will be directly followed by another 15 as the Steelers take on the Belle Vue Colts in the National Development League with an 8.15pm approx. start.
Tigers Season Tickets will be valid with general racenight admission £30 adults, £28 concessions, whilst junior (aged 12-17) and kids (aged 11 and under) prices have been frozen at £5 and £1 respectively.
Co-promoter Damien Bates said: “Our rivalry with Belle Vue seems to grow and grow each year, they might deny that but we know deep down that’s what they think as well, and we want to beat them every time we take them on.
“They did win the league last year, I know they’re confident about doing that again this year and they have got a decent side again – but so have we.
“I think it’s going to be two really good meetings on Bank Holiday Monday, and if you throw in the National Development League meeting that same night as well, that’s 15 races at their place followed by 30 heats at Owlerton – what a day that’s going to be!”
