However, lifelong Celtic fan Martin Compston was in good form as he wound up Ally McCoist about this Sunday’s Premier Sports Cup final against St Mirren as the Line of Duty actor revealed the Netflix star he will be meeting up with to take in the game at Hampden.

Compston was promoting his new series, The Revenge Club, and filming in Dublin and drinking Guinness, when Alan Brazil brought up the new James Bond movie that’s coming up which sparked the Celtic conversation.
Brazil said on talkSPORT, “Stephen Knight, writing the new [James] Bond film and, of course, The Guinness Story.
“I really enjoyed it. I loved it, me.”
Compston replied, “Wee Anthony Boyle, the star [of The Guinness Story], he’s a big Celtic man. I’m meeting up with him for the cup final at the weekend.
“You don’t know about the cup final, do you Ally?”
McCoist, “I’ve got my St Mirren strip on now!”
