Chelsea and their Premier League rivals Manchester City will both be desperate to strengthen their respective squads this summer.
Chelsea are in danger of missing out on Champions League qualification, while the same thing could also happen to City, who failed to compete for the title this season.
In terms of reinforcements for the next campaign, then, Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen could arrive at Chelsea.
The Blues also have another Premier League star on their radar, but City and Pep Guardiola are keen on him, too.

Chelsea want to sign Huijsen and Marc Guehi in the summer as they look to give their defence a bit of a revamp.
Like with Huijsen, though, they face a battle with other Premier League clubs for Guehi‘s signature, including City.
According to The Sun, the Citizens have now joined Chelsea, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the Crystal Palace ace.

While Guehi could be arriving at Stamford Bridge in the next transfer window, a couple of central defenders could be leaving.
For example, it has been reported that Chelsea could sell Wesley Fofana after all of his injury problems since arriving at the club.
The Blues will want to get Huijsen or Guehi through the door first, though, before they start sanctioning sales. And one of their current stars could help them to acquire the latter.

Trevoh Chalobah spent the first half of this season out on loan at Palace, and it looks like the 25-year-old impressed a lot of people at Selhurst Park while he was there.
It has been claimed that Palace would accept Chalobah in a player-plus-cash deal that would see Guehi move to Chelsea.
Offering their academy graduate to the Eagles, then, could be one trick that the Blues use to land Guehi ahead of City and others. The England international is undoubtedly going to be one of the big transfer sagas of the summer.
