Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco are ringing in their birthday with new portraits.

The twin children of Prince Albert and Princess Charlene turned 11 on Dec. 10, and the Prince’s Palace of Monaco released three new pictures of the kids to celebrate the occasion.

“A very happy birthday to Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who celebrate their 11th birthday today. 🎂🎈,” courtiers wrote below the Instagram photos in French and English. The pictures were credited to Vanessa von Zitzewitz and tagged at the Prince’s Palace, where the royal family lives.

The carousel opened with a snap of Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella twinning in white outfits, with Jacques’ arm around his sister.

It rolled to a solo photo of Prince Jacques, who is the heir to the throne, striking a pose with his hand on his chin while sporting a white sweater.

The montage closed with a solo shot of Princess Gabriella, who also struck a pose with her hand below her chin as she sparkled in a shimmering white dress.

Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella are sharing the unique experience of growing up in the royal spotlight, but Prince Albert previously told PEOPLE about their distinct personalities.

“In very broad terms, Jacques is a little more shy and a little quieter, but he can also come up with some very funny things,” Prince Albert exclusively told PEOPLE in 2021, when the twins were 6. “He’s a great observer and loves to size up the situation. Then he’ll go for it.”

Meanwhile, Princess Gabriella is “a little more outgoing, and she definitely has the gift of gab.”

“She’s just a character who loves to dance and to sing. She has no qualms about being in front of people,” he said.

Jacques and Gabriella often join their parents, Prince Albert, 67, and Princess Charlene, 47, for official royal events like Monaco’s National Day and recently posed for another close-up in their family’s Christmas card.

On Dec. 7, the Princely Palace released a new portrait of Prince Albert, Princess Charlene and their twins to commemorate Christmas. The royal family gathered together before a festive fireplace and tree, where they were joined by an unexpected guest: their dog, Harley!
