A man police released CCTV images of after an “incident” at Glasgow Central Station has been traced.

The incident took place at around 6.45pm on Sunday, November 30.

Officers from British Transport Police released photographs of a man they hoped could assist them with their inquiries.

He was described as white, aged between 40 to 50, around 6ft tall, of a slim build and with short dark hair.

At the time, he was wearing a baseball cap with a logo, a long dark coloured coat, a blue shirt with a white T-shirt underneath, dark trousers, and navy blue Nike shoes with white soles. He was also carrying an over the shoulder bag.

British Transport Police officers confirmed he had been traced.

The force can be contacted by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2500147146. Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
