CIH Scotland has signed a new partnership agreement with Barrhead Housing, demonstrating the commitment of both organisations to enhancing professionalism and long-term career development across the sector.

Building on Barrhead Housing’s established leadership in school engagement and advocacy for careers in housing, the partnership will embed professional standards within Barrhead Housing, support employee professional and personal development and widen access to accredited training and resources.

“I am absolutely delighted that CIH Scotland and Barrhead Housing have signed a new corporate partnership,” said Callum Chomczuk, national director of CIH Scotland. “The partnership is a real demonstration of how CIH should be working with the sector, hand in hand, improving practice, supporting professionalism and encouraging pathways into housing to meet the challenges we face.”

As a corporate partner, Barrhead Housing will have access to tailored, professional-development programmes, structured learning routes and recognised accreditation to support continuous improvement across their teams.

Both organisations will develop joint initiatives to promote career opportunities and highlight the diverse roles and pathways available in housing.

“We are proud to partner with CIH Scotland,” said Barrhead Housing chief executive officer Lorna Wilson. “This collaboration will underpin the ongoing development of our dedicated team and our commitment to embed professional standards and continuous improvement in all we do.”
