This year, Edinburgh Trams staff are once again taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. From Drivers and Operational colleagues to Ticketing Services Assistants and the office team, colleagues from across the business are wrapping up in their most festive fits to raise money for the charity.
Since the inaugural Christmas Jumper Day in 2012, Save the Children have raised over £40m to help vulnerable children in the UK and around the globe, and we’re proud to be playing a small part again this year in helping the cause to create lasting change for children.
Keep an eye out for our staff across the city today (Thursday 11 December) spreading some Christmas sparkle in their festive attire!
Becky Love, Marketing & Communications Manager at Edinburgh Trams, said:
“Edinburgh Trams has a long history of supporting fundraising events, especially at this time of year. The work that Save the Children have done in the UK and beyond is incredibly important, and we’re extremely proud to support it.
“At this time of year, we’ll continue to spread some festive cheer across the city of Edinburgh and with our staff displaying their Christmassy best, we’re sure to do just that!”
Edinburgh Trams will match the final figure of funds raised by our staff to further support the cause this year.
