A 22-year-old man was arrested
Police pulled over a vehicle that was ‘being driven erratically’ – only to discover it had been stolen.
A 22-year-old man was arrested after the vehicle was stopped in Streetly at 2.30am on Thursday, December 11.
Officers also seized some tools and took the suspect in to be quizzed on the theft of a motor vehicle and going equipped for burglary.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We recovered a stolen vehicle after it was taken from an address in Great Barr.
“Response officers, based at Walsall, were on patrol in the Streetly area at around 2.30am this morning, when they stopped a vehicle to conduct checks after spotting it being driven erratically.
“The checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen earlier from an address in Great Barr.
“A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle and going equipped for burglary.
“Following a search a number of tools were also seized. He was taken into custody where he was later bailed as we carry out further enquiries.”
The force has urged anyone with information about the incident to call 101, quoting crime reference number 20/471840/25.
