The German’s patience snapped with his ropey rearguard after they again conceded cheap goals

Raging Rangers boss Danny Rohl says defensive lapses have killed off their Europa League hopes.
The Ibrox side crashed out of the competition after another defeat last night – losing 2-1 to Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros.
Gers have just a solitary point after six games and Rohl was livid after their latest loss.
His side led through Bojan Miovski’s opener in Budapest but conceded on the stroke of half-time.
Rangers were then exposed at the back as rookie centre-back Emmanuel Fernandez lost Barnabas Varga in the box who headed home a winner for Robbie Keane’s team.
Rohl couldn’t hide his disappointment afterwards as he accused his players of ruining all their good work with moments of madness at the back.
The German said: “Honestly, I’m very angry about our conceded goals. This is the big disappointment for me tonight. We played a solid first half and went into the lead, which is exactly what you want playing away.

“If you go in at half-time with a lead, they have to open up and there are more spaces. But we lost the first goal and in the second half, we missed so many transition moments.
“And for the second goal, it’s far too easy. We have to look at our positioning because it’s a long ball. It’s in the air for 40 metres. If you’re in the right position, nothing happens.
“These are the parts of the game where we’re not clinical enough. This is the second game in a row where I’ve seen a team that’s competitive and is in the process of moving forward.
“But I see a team which is destroying their hard work in this competition with two or three situations. To take something you have to be sharp for 95 minutes in every duel.
“If you do it, you can win this game. I’m disappointed that for two games in a row, we’ve conceded goals in games we could have won.
“When you think about the Braga game, we could have taken a minimum of four points – but we don’t have them. What happens in the next two games isn’t a topic for me today.
“I have to move forward now and prepare the players for big games ahead in the league.”
Rohl can now focus on trying to get back into a Scottish Premiership title race, with Gers’ remaining two Europa League ties against Ludogorets and Porto in January now effectively dead rubbers.
He’s hoping in-form striker Miovski will be available to play against Hibs on Monday night after he was taken off in Hungary and was icing an injury by full-time.
The manager was at least boosted by the return of Dujon Sterling from injury. But a frustrated Rohl said: “I’m angry today about these two or three mistakes. It’s hard to take.
“But from tomorrow on, we have to focus on big, important games in the league. It’s hard for me because I felt there was something in the game tonight.
“It was good that Dujon got some minutes. He showed his experience and his quality.

“That’s a good thing. Bojan got a kick but it could be a bit more. Hopefully not. We have to recover and on Monday I want to see a team fighting for three points in the league.”
Rangers winger Djeidi Gassama has been linked with a January move to La Liga outfit Villarreal but Rohl says he wants all his top players to be part of the club’s progress – starting on Monday night.
He said: “I don’t want to speak about rumours – I think there will be a lot of them about outs and ins. He’s a player at our club and there’s nothing more to say.
“We need every player in good shape. That’s what we have to do in the next few weeks.
“There are big opportunities for us but we have to take the next step on Monday by getting a clean sheet and being clinical in both boxes.”
