A pedestrian and three other men were involved

Four men have been injured in a horror crash which closed a Tameside road for several hours. Emergency services attended Boyds Walk, in Dukinfield, at around 5pm on Thursday evening (December 12).
Greater Manchester Police says the crash involved a car and a van. Three of the men injured were occupants from either vehicle, while the fourth was a pedestrian. Their ages have not been confirmed.
Witnesses reported seeing a large police presence alongside firefighters at the scene. GMP says two men were taken to hospital from the scene for further treatment.
A third later attended hospital by himself. Their injuries are not thought to be either life-changing or life-threatening, GMP says. The pedestrian was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing Boyds Walk closed off until around 10pm on Thursday night. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for further information about the incident.
