A massage parlour in Sutton Coldfield has permanently closed after an investigation by West Midlands Police.
Officers from the Birmingham Serious Organised Crime and Exploitation Team (SOCEX) applied for the order earlier in the year as part of an investigation into indoor sex locations.
Shangri La, on Bishops Way, Four Oaks, was being advertised as a massage parlour, but enquiries led officers to believe it was being used as a brothel, where women were being exploited.

In September, officers issued an emergency closure notice of the premises for 48 hours, and were then successful at court in being granted a three-month closure order,
This meant anyone entering the premises risked being fined or arrested.
That order has now expired but the building has been completely cleared out, and the business is no longer operating there.
Sgt Paul Lakey, from SOCEX, said: “We’re pleased to see Shangri La has closed for good, as once we’d identified it as a suspected brothel, we were determined to take action.
“Closing premises like these is an important part of our work, and protecting the people being exploiting within them is our priority.
“We remain absolutely committed to safeguarding those who are vulnerable, and ultimately making communities better places for people to live, work, and visit.”
The investigation into people involved at the massage parlour is ongoing.
