The OGAE Poll
The OGAE Poll has been held since 2007 by OGAE clubs all over Europe and beyond. The purpose of the OGAE Poll is not to predict the winner, but to determine the fan favourite.
In recent years, the poll has been closely followed by fans as an indicator of potential results at the Eurovision Song Contest. The OGAE poll can give an indication of taste amongst the fans which helps to build momentum behind certain entries.
Last year, Baby Lasagna from Croatia was declared the winner of the OGAE Poll 2024 after a total of 5,760 votes were cast across the OGAE fanclubs. Full results of the OGAE Poll 2024 can be foundΒ here.

Since its debut in 1994, Slovakia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest a total of seven times. Slovakiaβs best result was in 1996 when Marcel Palonder finished 18th with the song βKΓ½m nΓ‘s mΓ‘Ε‘β. The country has a history of withdrawing and returning to the contest. They were relegated from the contest in 1995 and 1997. They then withdrew from the contest between 1999 and 2008, and again from 2013 onwards. Their 2011 entry βIβm Still Aliveβ came the closest to qualifying for the final, placing 13th in the semi-final. It was also the first Slovak entry to be entirely in English.
