LEICESTER boss Geoff Parling reckons European chiefs should turn back time to revive the Champions Cup and revert to their old system.
The structure of the tournament has come under fire with four groups of six, where teams can’t face clubs from the same league, and a round of 16.
Under the old format there were five groups of four, a hugely popular double header where teams played each other home and away over two weekends before Christmas, and eight qualifiers went straight to the quarter-finals.
