Wales is set for wet weather once again as a band of heavy rain is expected to settle over the country for 24 hours. The Met Office has issued two separate yellow weather warnings covering 12 parts of Wales, beginning on Sunday evening (December 14) and remaining in place for all of Monday (December 15).
The warnings for rain come after the Met Office said that there is a chance that 70mm of rain could fall in some places. Forecasters also warned that disruption, including flooding and transport issues, is likely due to the recent wet weather.
The first warning, covering Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd and Powys, comes into force at 6pm on Sunday and remains in place until 3pm on Monday.
A 24-hour warning for Bridgend, Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea then comes into force at midnight tonight.
