Golfing influencer Paige Spiranac has dashed rumors that she has dated Tom Brady and Bryson DeChambeau – but admitted that she once had a crush on Xander Schauffele.
The social media sensation has emerged as a household name in recent times, boasting 11 million followers across her various platforms. With 4 million followers on Instagram and 1.6 million on TikTok, the 32-year-old previously competed as a professional golfer after emerging as a prospect during her collegiate days at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University.
Since then, she has attempted forays into the world of the LPGA Tour, before turning her attentions to becoming a model and instructor – while still casting a keen eye over her sport of choice. Her profile as an influencer has also led to significant intrigue among the public in relation to her personal life.

However, the viral superstar – who divorced from Steven Tinoco after a four-year marriage back in 2022 – has remained largely coy on the subject. The internet celebrity did confirm last year that she was in a relationship with a finance executive named Zach Brantly and she arrived on the red carpet with the banker at the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party.
Since then, she has remained private in regards to her love life and her romance with the Berenberg employee. Now, she has playfully revealed that she once had a crush on golf star Schauffele during their respective spells at SDSU during an eye-opening address on her The SPINvitational show.

“I did go to school at SDSU with Xander Schauffele and another fun fact is I had a crush on him and he wanted nothing to do with me,” she divulged. “He met his wife Maya at SDSU, so it was meant to be. Didn’t work out for me in that way.”
She also dashed speculation that she has ever dated somebody in the public eye – as she rejected suggestions that she had dated NFL legend brady and LIV golfer DeChambeau too. She asserted: “[I’ve] never been on a date with anyone famous. I’ve had pro athletes or famous people slide in my DMs. I’ve never dated anyone famous.

‘It’s funny because I’ll see all these headlines. There was one where I shot content with Bryson and then a headline said I was dating ‘(‘him). Tom Brady was one of them, which was so crazy.
“It’s like any time I shoot content with a male celebrity, that’s the headline or all of the comments, which can be really difficult for my job where I work in a male-dominated industry … It’s really frustrating because I’ve never dated anyone famous ever, not even close.”

Speaking last year about her romance with Brantly, she confirmed that they were an item, saying: “Yes, I do have a boyfriend.
“He works crazy hours and he works a lot so what we do is whoever is busier, the other person will pick up the slack.’
As for misconceptions surrounding her personality away from the camera, the influencer claimed that she is a lot different to her public persona in private. She added: “I’m very much the opposite of the person I am online. I always say it’s my alter-ego.
“I think that’s another misconception that I’m outgoing and a party girl because of my image online. I have severe social anxiety. It’s funny that I’m doing what I’m doing now.”
