Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to find a missing woman who may be in Greater Manchester.

Laura Hurst is missing from Prenton in Merseyside. The 30-year-old was captured on CCTV footage getting on a Liverpool train, police said.

She got off at Bryn station at around 10.55pm on December 9. Officers believe she could now be in the Ashton-in-Makerfield area.

Merseyside Police today (December 16) shared a fresh appeal for help to trace her a week on from her disappearance. The force also shared a CCTV image on social media of Laura on a train.

She is described as being 5ft 7in tall and of medium build. She also has red shoulder-length hair.

Anyone who spots Laura should 999 immediately, police said. “If you see Laura or have any information on her whereabouts, then please call 999 so we can make sure she’s safe”, a force spokesperson added.

“Alternatively please pass on any sightings of Laura via our form: https://orlo.uk/l4eVh or any other information to Merseyside Police Contact Centre or 101.”
