The destroyed white Citroen Berlingo was yesterday seen in a parking spot in Bardowie, Possilpark, Glasgow, which is understood to be close to the home of a Daniel family member.

Underworld sources claim it’s the latest attack linked to a months-long turf war blighting communities in Scotland’s two biggest cities.

An insider said: “Anyone who thinks this ongoing chaos is going to end any time soon is sadly mistaken.

“The hatred driving these attacks is long-standing and bitter and you can be sure there will be more to come.”

Images of the scene show the twisted motor mangled out of shape after thugs sparked the blaze.

The mysterious mob boss and former Union Bears footie ultra is said to be in cahoots with other Scots hoods linked to the Lyons gang determined to “exterminate” their bitter enemies.

Attacks later switched to Glasgow with relatives of crime boss Steven ‘Bonzo’ Daniel targetted.

His mum Annette, 63, and uncle Norman, 72, had their homes in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, torched.

And his cousin Jamie ‘Grinch’ Daniel was apparently slashed near his flat in the city’s Milton.

It was one of four properties targeted in one night in our capital city.

Two hooded thugs were seen pouring accelerant over the detached pad before fleeing under cover of darkness.

A source said at the time it was just “luck” that McMillan’s loved ones survived the 1.45am attack in Oxgangs, Edinburgh.

The insider said: “Fighting is now threatening to boil over.”

Cops probing the ongoing violence have made around 20 arrests linked to the carnage and have pledged to nick more.
