Police have released an image of a man they want to speak after a female passenger was sexually harassed aboard a London train. The woman was travelling between Victoria and Denmark Hill at around 8.30pm on December 3 when she was approached.
Taking a seat beside her, a man threatened to punch her whilst subjecting her to sexual harassment. He then purposefully blocked her exit as she attempted to get away.
The ordeal only ended when another passenger stepped in, forcing the man to stop. The British Transport Police (BTP) has now launched an appeal to identify a person of interest.

A statement reads: “Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help with their investigation.”
The photo shows a man in his late-20s to 30s, of slim build, with short dark hair and a moustache. He is wearing a black hoodie and appears to be carrying a yellow JD Sports drawstring bag.
Anyone who recognises them is urged to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 778 of 3 December. Anonymous reports can be made to Crimestoppers via 0800 555 111 or the charity’s website.
