PS5, PS4 Compilation Mega Man Star Force Legacy Adds 7 More RPGs to Your Stacked 2026 1

Update [Wed 17th Dec 2025, 9:30am]:

After seemingly being leaked by Sony at least 12 hours early, the release date trailer for the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection has now been published online. As reported previously, the compilation’s due out on 27th March.

This video shows off some of the new quality of life features, like the Speed Boost feature which will significantly accelerate your progress when walking around the overworld.

The video also introduces the various pre-order bonuses you can expect to unlock if you register your interest in the game early, including a fresh casual outfit and four additional soundtrack arrangements.

Original Story: Credit where credit’s due: Capcom has been doing a wonderful job of making many of its classic titles available on modern hardware.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is next in its preservation effort, bringing seven Nintendo DS titles to the PS5 and PS4 on 27th March. That date appears to have been leaked by Sony, because at the time of writing the official trailer is private.

It should be noted that while you will get seven games as part of this package, the series was massively inspired by Pokémon, so there’s multiple variations of three distinctly different games here.

Those games are:

  • Mega Man Star Force Leo
  • Mega Man Star Force Dragon
  • Mega Man Star Force Pegasus
  • Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja
  • Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Saurian
  • Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace
  • Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker

This a continuation of the Mega Man Battle Network sub-series, although the card-based combat system adopts an over-the-shoulder perspective this time.

Here’s the official blurb courtesy of Capcom:

The Mega Man Star Force series, which expanded into an anime, is back in the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection! This collection includes seven games and additional features like a gallery of illustrations and music! Online play is also supported!

It’s another game in an increasingly stacked 2026 to anticipate, then. Is this one on your radar at all? Let us know below.
