“Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie continue to appear at royal events”
Princess Eugenie and Beatrice may spend Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham away from both of their parents Sarah and Andrew.
This has been claimed by royal expert Andrew Lownie in his substack.
Andrew Lownie made these claims after the York sisters attended pre-Christmas lunch with King Charles and other senior members of the royal family including Kate Middleton, Prince William and others.
Andrew and Sarah were snubbed as per the media reports as they were not invited.
Amid these claims, Lownie believes the former Duke of York will spend this Christmas lonely at Royal Lodge.
The contrast with his daughters is key, the expert said and added “Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie continue to appear at royal events and may spend Christmas as Sandringham away from both of their parents.”
“Andrew more than anyone will be aware of the symbolism that this would convey,” the expert added.
Moreover, Andrew Lownie said, “King Charles III operates under very different conditions. His reign began amid diminished public goodwill and a heightened sensitivity to reputational risk.”
He continued regarding inviting Andrew for Christmas with royals, “The margins for manoeuvre are narrower. There is no appetite within the Palace for gestures that invite controversy, and little tolerance outside it for ambiguity.”
The royal expert further says, “Andrew’s absence from Sandringham shows his exile is total and permanent.”
