Going to the Etihad Stadium to take on a Pep Guardiola side is always tricky, regardless of how good you have been playing.

West Ham have not been in the best of form of late and are underdogs for this one.

Nuno is likely to ask his team to sit back and soak up pressure before hitting the Citizens on the break.

Given how good City’s front three have looked in recent games, he could deploy a back three to combat that threat.

Not having Aaron Wan-Bissaka and El Hadji Malick Diouf is most certainly going to be a big blow for Nuno.

This could see Ollie Scarles and Kyle Walker-Peters playing as left wing-backs and right wing-backs respectively.

If they are to perform in Wan-Bissaka and Diouf’s absence, there is a good chance that the AFCON duo will need to win back their place in the playing eleven in January once they return.
