The Indian Brewery Company has announced it will open a third restaurant at Birmingham Airport – complete with its own merchandise.

Indian Brewery, which already has two venues in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, says passengers will be able to feast on “delicious food” and enjoy its wide-range of award-winning craft beers.

Customers will be able to “kick start their day” before hitting the skies with a bacon, sausage and cheese naan breakfast sandwich.

Foodies will be able to enjoy classics, such as Indian pizzas sold at its Taproom counterpart, as well as a new selection of toasties and sides.

Butter paneer toasties and cheesy masala wedges were described by the company as a “must try”.

Juicy Mango Pale Ale and Pekok Lager will be available on tap.

The venue, opening at the International Pier, adjacent to the departure lounge, will also sell an exclusive range of merchandise.

Jaspal Purewal, CEO of The Indian Brewery, said: “We’re super excited to be opening in BHX, creating more jobs and helping towards shining the light on Birmingham.

“As a local proud Brummie, I believe Indian Brewery BHX will be an amazing location, offering our locally brewed beers and incredible food to all passengers.

“Not only can you enjoy great food and drink, but you will also be able to browse our exclusive range of merchandise – including beer packs and t-shirts for taking on your travels worldwide proudly Made in Birmingham.”

Work to open the venue is already underway.

The expansion, in partnership with TRGC, a leading UK travel hub hospitality operator, is currently scheduled to open its doors in February next year.

TRGC CEO Jon Knight said he was “delighted” to bring Indian Brewery to a new audience.

Richard Gill, Commercial Director of BHX, added: “We are delighted to be working with such a great local operator, The Indian Brewery, in partnership with TRG, to open its third restaurant at BHX this winter.

“As the undisputed home of the ‘curry capital’, our region is often celebrated for its culinary contributions and thriving vibrant food scene.
