Police have released CCTV as part of an investigation into an alleged rape at a Welsh nightclub. Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating a rape allegation following an incident in Sands Nightclub, Saundersfoot, in the early hours of Sunday, December 14.
An 18-year-old has been charged with rape in connection with the alleged incident. Officers are now looking to identify the person pictured in the CCTV above, as they believe she may have been a witness to the alleged incident. There is no suggestion that the woman in the CCTV still has done anything wrong.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said on Thursday: “It’s important to stress that the person pictured is not suspected of any wrongdoing. Officers would like to speak with her as a witness.”
Dyfed-Powys Police asked for the woman pictured, who is blonde and is wearing a black and green top with a black skirt and tights, or anyone that could help officers get in contact with her, to contact the force.
The force can be contacted online, by email 101@dyfed-powys.police.uk or by calling 101. Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555111. Reference 25*1018987 should be quoted.
Joshua Probert was arrested on suspicion of rape and has now been charged with the offence. He has been remanded into custody.
