Holidaymakers looking to lock in some sunshine for less may want to take note, as a luxury Canary Islands break has been slashed in price in a major new travel sale. One standout deal sees a holiday previously priced at £1,473 now reduced to £689, based on two people travelling from Manchester Airport, with prices shown per person.
This deal is part of the loveholidays sale, which launches on 18 December and runs throughout January, offering reduced prices across hundreds of hotels. All prices shown are ATOL protected and based on two people sharing, with the option to secure a holiday with a deposit from £19 per person and spread the cost with monthly payments.
First up is a seven night all inclusive break to Fuerteventura that is currently available at the SBH Costa Calma Beach Resort, with departures from Manchester on Tuesday 30 December 2025. Flights are direct both ways, with an outbound Ryanair flight leaving Manchester at 10.45am and arriving in Fuerteventura at 3.10pm, and a return flight on Tuesday 6 January landing back in Manchester at 8.10pm.

This is reduced from the usual £1,473 per person, offering savings for those looking to travel over the New Year period. Staying on an all inclusive basis means meals, drinks and on site facilities are covered, making it a good option for those who want a relaxed winter sun escape.
The beachfront resort is known for its spacious, modern rooms with sea or garden views, large pools including adults only and children’s options, and a wide range of dining choices included in the all-inclusive package. Guests can also enjoy water sports, daytime activities and evening entertainment, with Costa Calma’s beaches, cafés and restaurants just outside the hotel.

There are also savings on a seven night self catering stay at the four star Muthu Clube Praia Da Oura in Albufeira, Portugal. Departing from Manchester on the same date, this deal is now available from £429 per person, with a total price of £858 down from £890 for two people.
The hotel is centrally located near Praia da Oura beach and offers air conditioned rooms with balconies, three outdoor pools, a poolside bar and access to a wide range of restaurants and bars. It’s a good option for couples or families looking for sunshine and value for money, with beaches, nightlife and Albufeira Old Town all close by.
Another option includes a seven-night stay at the four star Blue Sea Costa Jardin and Spa in Tenerife, with breakfast included. Departing Manchester on 30 December 2025, prices start from £609 per person, or £1,218 for two people, down from £1,306.

The hotel is set just outside Puerto de la Cruz and offers comfortable rooms, an outdoor pool, spa facilities, a gym and evening entertainment. Guests are within easy reach of local beaches, restaurants and attractions such as Loro Parque Zoo, making it a solid choice for a relaxed winter break.
All of these deals are available through loveholidays, which also offers a Best Price Promise, meaning if shoppers find the same holiday cheaper elsewhere, they’ll refund the difference and add an extra £5 per person. However, there are some other great deals on alternative websites to choose from.
Lastminute.com also has a range of deals available on offer, such as a four night stay (9 – 13 January) with breakfast at the five-star hotel Vincci Seleccion La Plantacion del Sur in Tenerife. Prices here are beginning at £725 per person and return flights from London are included, as well as two small bags and two cabin bags.

For a week’s stay (3 – 10 January) in Blue Sea Costa Bastian in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, it is now priced at £727 on Skyscanner. This includes direct flights from Stansted London and breakfast is also included.
However, the deals on loveholiday have been rated highly on Tripadvisor, such as the seven night all inclusive break to Fuerteventura. One person said: “Went with an open mind after reading some comments.
“The room was huge, very clean, lovely view, bed a bit hard so took a couple of nights to get a good sleep. The food was excellent plenty of choice.

“The staff couldn’t fault them, everyone was lovely. I will definitely be back.”
A second person said: “As someone who was British I felt the most welcome by reception, they listened to my concerns raised about my shower not working and helped get things sorted for me! Although it took longer than it did.
“Restaurant staff you may struggle trying to make them understand you if you only speak English but hats off to reception!” However, for the Blue Sea Costa Jardin and Spa in Tenerife, this person said as part of a longer review: “The inside pool in the Spa area cost 18 Euros, which surprised us as we thought it was included in the hotel facilities.

“The outside pool was lovely, but due to the weather, we didn’t swim outside. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Tenerife.
“However, the weather would be the deciding factor if we went back in December.” Another said as part of another long review: “I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again, the only downfall is it’s a bit out of the way, but the hotel offers a free bus service to town, so what more can you ask, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, it was awesome.”
Most people were impressed though, as this person said about the four star Muthu Clube Praia Da Oura in Albufeira, Portugal: “Karaoke was amazing with the amazing entertainment Yoandry and in the ocean bar.
“Sumaila and Christian are the nice bar tenders. Thanks to them, I’m enjoying the night.”
