In an explosive twist to the Beckham family drama, Brooklyn Beckham has unfollowed his parents, David and Victoria, on Instagram – and been unfollowed in return.
Just weeks after a reconciliation appeared to be on the cards, the family feud instead seems to have worsened. Brooklyn no longer follows his parents’ Instagram accounts, nor do they follow his. Though Brooklyn is thought to have been estranged from his parents for much of the year, he had still followed them on Instagram, until 20 December.
As such, he was likely to have seen the recent olive branches they appeared to make via the app, particularly one seen on Victoria’s Instagram Stories, where she shared that her mother was still putting up a stocking for Brooklyn at Christmas. But far from encouraging her eldest son to reach out, Brooklyn may have removed them from his feed.

Earlier this year, similar happened between Brooklyn and his brothers. Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were said to be blindsided when they found out they no longer followed either Romeo or Cruz, and sources said they had been blocked rather than choosing to unfollow the pair themselves.
“Blocking or unfollowing someone on Instagram is like the Gen Z version of World War Three,” a source told The Sun at the time. “It’s a sad new low.”
It is not known if Brooklyn unfollowed his parents and vice versa, or if either he or the Beckhams blocked each other. Though his sister, Harper Seven, now has an Instagram account, she did not before the rift began and he has not started following her.
The family feud has been ongoing for much of the year, with Brooklyn seemingly cutting all contact with his family and snubbing major events such as his father’s knighthood and 50th birthday. Additionally, he chose not to invite any of his family to his vow renewal this summer.

But he was said to be open to a reconciliation if his parents issued a public apology to him and his wife. Such a make up seems unlikely now, especially since Brooklyn has again chosen not to spend time with his family. For Christmas, despite his mother’s olive branch, he appeared to be opting to stay with Nicola’s family in Miami.
Nicola posted a photo of her husband and her brother to Instagram, in which they were lounging near the pool at her family’s Palm Beach mansion. This and their silence regarding the Beckhams is quite the change from last year, as in 2024, they spent the holiday with Brooklyn’s family.
Sharing a snap of the whole group, including Nicola and Brooklyn, to Instagram on Boxing Day, Victoria wrote: “Being together for the holidays makes me so happy. I love you all so much.”
