SATURDAY WRAP: Munster moved back into second spot in the United Rugby Championship standings after they recorded a 26-10 bonus-point win over the Ospreys in Wales.

The Irish giants are just three points behind the Stormers, who maintained their unbeaten record with a 34-27 win over the Lions earlier in the day.

Munster’s four tries were scored by Shane Daly, Lee Barron, Jack Crowley and Mike Haley.

Meanwhile, Glasgow will take a 12-point lead into the second leg of the 1872 Cup at Murrayfield next Saturday after claiming a bonus-point 24-12 victory over Edinburgh at Hampden.

The rivals were separated by just two points at the break as the Warriors led 7-5 before flexing their muscles in the second half in front of a crowd of 21,093 at Scotland’s national football stadium.

The Dragons ended a 15-month winless streak in the URC after they thumped Connacht 48-28 at Rodney Parade.

In Italy, Benetton edged rivals Zebre Parma 21-15.
