ARRI wants to hear from you. They are conducting research to understand the professional smartphone filmmaking workflows of Directors of Photography, Operators, 1st ACs, DITs, and aspiring filmmakers.
To do this, they want people to fill out a survey that will directly inform the potential development of professional-grade applications that bring ARRI’s renowned image science, exposure discipline, and metadata workflows to mobile capture.
The survey takes around 5-7 minutes to complete.
After a tough 2025, ARRI is looking to be more proactive in finding out what users want to try and adapt to the changing market. Just the other day, they put out a statement reaffirming their commitment that lighting would continue to be central to ARRI’s strategy. By consolidating research, product management, and service at our Munich headquarters, they plan to accelerate innovation and create a hub for next-generation solutions. To drive this forward, ARRI has welcomed new industry specialists to its Lighting team, enabling closer collaboration and faster development. They want to say that they expect exciting new innovations for Motion Picture, Live Entertainment, and Content Creators early in the new year.
