The PSNI confirmed officers were back on the ground on Friday, with specialist resources deployed along the coastline close to Orlock Point.
Mr Bryn was last seen in his home town of Groomsport on Saturday, 6 December. His last contact with family was at around 6pm.
Mr Bryn is described as being approximately 5ft 10in tall, of slim build with dark hair.
His wife, Nicola Williams, and the wider family circle have said they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Nicola said: “It’s now six days since Bryn went missing and we just want him home safe in time for Christmas. If anyone has any information at all, I would ask them to please contact police. The smallest thing might help find him.”
In a post on social media, PSNI Ards and North Down posted that they have deployed a highly trained specialist search dog alongside its handler to focus on specific areas of the shoreline as part of the ongoing operation.

Officers were also assisted by search teams from Community Rescue Service, a charitable search and rescue organisation, which carried out searches of identified areas close to Ballyholme Beach.
The renewed activity comes as police continue efforts to establish Bryn’s movements and locate him, following an appeal earlier this month.
Police have reiterated that the investigation remains ongoing and have again urged anyone who may have information which could assist to come forward.
“We would like to know of Bryn’s movements last Saturday, and would ask the public to report any sightings of him or his distinctive blue Porsche Macan, registration number OIG9692,” a police spokesperson said.
“We would also ask that any boat-owners in Groomsport, Bangor or any of the surrounding coastal towns check their vessels.

Bryn Williams was last seen in Groomsport.
