The store will close its doors in January
New Look
A New Look store is set to close its doors in the new year. The New Look store on St Chads Parade in Kirkby town centre has confirmed its closure. The store sells womenswear, footwear, accessories and lingerie.
New Look started in 1969 as a single store in Somerset, founded by Tom Singh. The retailer became known for its affordability, becoming popular with teenagers and adults. New Look faced rapid growth in the 1990s and now has 338 stores across the UK.
Kirkby town centre is home to several stores including B&M, Card Factory, Iceland and Peacocks.

The sign reads: “Thanks for having us, Kirkby. This store will be closing on Saturday 17th January.
“Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to find us at newlook.com with 100s of new styles dropping every week!”
According to the New Look website, the nearest stores will be Bootle (4.9m miles away), Belle Vale (6.4 miles away) and St Helens (6.5 miles away).

The store will operate under its usual opening hours of 9.30am until 5pm from Monday to Saturday. However, its opening hours will be different through the Christmas period.
