Students from Stagecoach Leeds Morley wowed audiences last week as they took to the stage to perform their very own versions of the musical, Annie Junior.
The school performed three shows from Thursday to Saturday (11-13 December 2025). With each show containing a different cast. The shows took place at Cockburn School in Beeston and included students aged 6-17 all from the South Leeds area. Rehearsals started back in September and here all students worked so hard to collectively produce 3 amazing performances.
One parent described the show as utterly charming, joyful and a genuine delight. An extraordinary opportunity for young children to perform in such an environment. With many students taking on substantial roles, everyone was given a moment to shine. A heartfelt thank you to the staff for giving the children the chance to build confidence and creativity in such a powerful way.
Stagecoach Performing Arts Leeds Morley Principal, Mark Heslop says:
“Stagecoach Leeds Morley operates from Cockburn School on a Thursday and a Saturday. Here students from the age of 4-18 are taught to sing, dance and act. Based around musical theatre our objective is to unlock students performing potential, increase their skills and help them develop their creative courage for both on and off the stage.”
