The approval adds PowerBridge Pro to Energous’ EU-certified portfolio, which already includes PowerBridge Lite, enabling commercial rollout in all EU member states as well as the UK. The PowerBridge Pro system delivers 2 watts of conducted power and features an effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP) of 39.5 dBi, offering extended coverage and enhanced performance for wireless power transmission over distance. It is certified for dual-band operation at 865 MHz and 918 MHz, allowing unrestricted deployment across Europe.

“EU certification of our PowerBridge Pro marks a major milestone in Energous’ roadmap for global expansion,” said Mallorie Burak, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Energous. “By meeting strict EU regulatory standards, we are positioned to carry the same momentum we’ve seen with Fortune 10 deployments in the US into the European market, enabling enterprises to scale wireless power infrastructures across their supply chains.”

The certification process involved rigorous testing, including conducted and radiated measurements, safety evaluations, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) checks, and radiated immunity assessments. Following successful review, the device now carries the CE mark, granting market access throughout the EU.

With approvals secured in both the United States and Europe, Energous aims to accelerate the adoption of wireless power networks globally. The company’s higher-power, long-range transmitters are designed to support Ambient IoT applications, delivering continuous, real-time data for critical operations such as supply chain monitoring, cold chain management, fleet tracking, and environmental sensing.

“This approval accelerates the adoption of wireless power as a foundational infrastructure layer for Ambient IoT,” Burak added. “Our technology gives enterprises a sustainable, maintenance-free alternative to batteries, while supporting smarter, more connected operations on a global scale.”
