Emergency crews, including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene around 12:40pm. The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The men, aged 37 and 40, have been released on an undertaking to appear in court on a later date. The alleged attack saw one of the city’s busiest streets put on lockdown, with an area close to Glasgow Central station taped off by cops.
