Scott Smith, from Todholm Primary School in Paisley, was named the winner of Neil Bibby MSP’s competition for his design of a festive-themed Paisley town hall.

Neil Bibby, who represents West Scotland, visited Scott at school to present him with a certificate and a prize.

The MSP also extended his commendation to the runners-up, Diana Maria Kwiecien from St Fergus’ Primary and Olivia Crawford from Ralston Primary.

Mr Bibby said: “I was delighted to present Scott with a prize to congratulate him for his absolutely fantastic winning design for my Christmas card competition.”

“Our children and young people are so talented and the standard this year was so high, but of course, there could only be one winner – and Scott’s work was outstanding.

“Politicians across the country do this and Scott’s design is genuinely the best I’ve ever seen.

“I would like to congratulate runners-up Diana and Olivia for their fantastic designs too and to thank all pupils who took part.”
