With Christmas shopping done and dusted for another year, and the Boxing Day sales frenzy out of the way, it’s time to look ahead to what’s coming next at Greater Manchester’s biggest shopping centre in 2026. The Trafford Centre had a bumper year in 2025, welcoming a host of new retailers as well as opening new expanded locations for much-loved brands.

New stores that have opened within the last two months of 2025 include the new Haribo store, K beauty shop PURESEOUL, Whittard teas, Joe & The Juice cafe and posh chocolate shop Laderach. Also newly opened in 2025 has been the big new flagship stores from Zara and Pull & Bear, sitting alongside a new Bershka fashion store.

All of the moves around the mall mean there are plenty more new shops to come in the first quarter of 2026. A raft of new stores have already announced their plans to open at the Trafford Centre, while more are set to follow in the coming months.

Here’s everything we know that’s confirmed to arrive so far.

The luxury gift, fashion and homewear emporium is opening a standalone store at the Trafford Centre for the first time in the spring. The hoardings are now up at the unit on Lower Regent Crescent stating an opening of “Spring 2026”.

Fans of the brand can still shop the range at its concession inside Selfridges at the Trafford Centre in the meantime.

The American burger and milkshake giant is opening its first ever Greater Manchester diner at the Trafford Centre in the new year. It’s taken over the site of the former Costa coffee shop in the entrance to the Great Hall.

Shoppers will have no doubt seen there’s lots of work going on in the space, which looks to be increasing the footprint of what was there before. Colourful artworks have also now gone up to start whetting apetites of the giant burgers that await when this one opens.

Michael Kors (new expanded location)

The American fashion brand, known for its designer handbags and MK logos, has been a firm favourite for some time now on Peel Avenue.

But in 2026 it will be opening a new store only a couple of doors down from its existing location. It’s not yet been confirmed whether the existing store will remain once the new spot is opened, and whether it will offer an expanded range of fashions.

Stradivarius (new expanded location)

Fresh from its sister brands, Pull&Bear, Zara and Bershka, all getting snazzy new stores on Peel Avenue next to John Lewis, Stradivarius is going to be next up for a change in the new year.

For store bosses have confirmed they’ve taken over a big new site at the mall which will give the brand a new flagship location with refreshed look. It will be taking over larger units on Peel Avenue, where Superdry used to be, with an opening date pencilled in for Spring 2026.

Foot Asylum (new expanded location)

The trainer giant is taking over a bigger site on Peel Avenue, which was part of the former Zara store before the fashion label moved to its new bigger home.

The hoardings are already up, featuring Madonna’s daughter Lourdes no less, and it says they’re looking at a Spring 2026 opening.
