Yellowstone’s Kelly Reilly stars in the drama set in a Welsh town
Sky has revealed that their intriguing new drama set in the fictitious Welsh town of Morfa Halen will be launching in the new year. Titled Under Salt Marsh, this gripping crime thriller boasts a star-studded cast featuring notable Welsh talent and was filmed in Gwynedd and Anglesey.
The series centres around a close-knit community nestled between towering mountains and a rapidly encroaching sea that poses a threat to its very existence. This grim discovery sends ripples through the town as it rekindles an unresolved cold case, the vanishing of Jackie’s niece. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter
The death of her student prompts the return of Jackie’s ex-partner, Detective Eric Bull, portrayed by Rafe Spall, who spearheads the investigation into a community he previously let down.
Convinced the cases are connected, Jackie and Eric must mend their relationship and race against time to unearth long-hidden secrets within the town.
