It may be too late for a White Christmas but Londoners could be seeing in 2026 with a bout of snow. Temperatures are set to drop as low as -1C next week, forecasts BBC Weather.

While we’ve had a relatively balmy winter so far, there is set to be a dip in temperatures next weekend which could see light snow fall over the capital. There are then sent to be several more rounds of snow over the following week.

Temperatures are sticking around the 6C mark for the rest of this coming week. New Year’s Eve will even see bright shining sun and no clouds in the sky. But this good weather won’t last forever, as snow is set to creep in on Saturday (January 3) and temperatures drop as low as -1C in the early hours of the morning.

There will be some brief reprieve before more snow falls in London on Tuesday (January 6), Wednesday (January 7) and Thursday (January 8). Rain will also fall over London making for a particularly cold and damp period.
