A total of 77 arrests have been made for drink- and drug-driving in West Yorkshire in the latest week of the Drink Drug Drive Operation.
26 of those were for were for suspected drug driving, and the other 51 were for suspected drink-driving.
266 arrests made in December alone
Offences include a driver stopped during a joint operation with North Yorkshire Police at Boston Spa, who tested positive for cannabis and another driver stopped on Boxing Day in Harehills, Leeds, who also tested positive for the same drug.
The individual stopped in Harehills was also driving without insurance and had his vehicle seized.
The additional 77 arrests recorded in week four of the Drink Drug Drive Operation bring the grand total of arrests made since the start of December to 266.
Officers are continuing to step up patrols on the roads into the New Year.
