Eamonn Holmes treated his girlfriend Katie Alexander to a £270-a-night luxury trip over the Christmas period. The couple were spotted arriving at Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, on Boxing Day.
Dressed in a red jumper, red and white striped shirt and jeans, Katie, 43, could be seen helping the GB News presenter, 66, out of the car before they made their way inside. They were joined by Katie’s three children and dog.
The luxury resort boasts a spa, three restaurants, a private cinema and two golf courses as well as 300 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland. There is a range of accommodation available, with the most expensive cottage, Gardeners Cottage, costing £448 per night. It comes with three double bedrooms, two ensuites, a private garden and a hot tub.

Eamonn and his ex, Ruth Langsford, continue to negotiate their divorce after they announced their split in 2024. The former couple, who share a son, Jack, 23, got together in 1996 and tied the knot in 2010.
Eamonn moved on with Katie Alexander, who is 22 years his junior. Despite the age gap, the pair’s romance seems to be flourishing, with the couple taking luxurious holidays together and regularly attending high-profile events
Meanwhile, Ruth is reportedly looking for love in 2026.
“This is a new beginning. She’ll be divorced, she’s got a new book coming out and she’s feeling fabulous,” says a source close to the star. “And she’s looking for love, so it’s definitely a new start. 2026 is going to be her year.”

As to what the presenter is seeking in a new partner, we’re told she’s now keen to find someone positive and with a real zest for life.
“She’s looking for someone not grumpy,” says our source. “Someone fun who makes her laugh is really important. Ruth has a great sense of humour, so he’s got to have that sense of humour and fun.”
According to our source, Ruth would much rather be paired with a man who’s had her pals’ seal of approval, or who she’s met organically and in person.
“When it comes to dating, she’s not going online – she’s old school,” we’re told. “It’s through friends, going out and being social. She’s doing it the old way, where you meet someone in a bar or restaurant, or through mates. She’s keeping her eye out.”
As well as looking for Mr Right, our source says Ruth is keen to overhaul every aspect of her life now she’s free and single.
“She is 100% trying to make 2026 her year and is living life to the full,” says the pal. “She’s put her heart and soul into her career and in 2026 is going to have more fun in her personal life. She is going to enjoy every aspect.”
