It will be the brand’s third venue in the Bristol region

A burger restaurant is set to open up shop inside The Mall Cribbs Causeway next month. Signs have appeared at a unit in The Mall for Honest Burgers, a British casual dining chain known for making its own burgers from scratch, in its own butchery.
Predominantly located in London, and founded in Briston in 2011, it serves up a menu of beef burgers, smashed burgers, halal chicken burgers, vegetarian and plant-based vegan burgers, alongside its own homemade rosemary salted chips and beers from local breweries.
Photos of the unit at The Mall show the brand’s British racing green-coloured hoardings with the Honest Burgers branding and a message to say: “Opening January 2026”. There’s also a QR code to scan in order to join the Honest Burgers rewards app.
The new restaurant appears to be located at the Marks & Spencer end of the building, near to Wagamama and The Shake Lab, next door to Tortilla and Hobbs, on the upper floor of the shopping destination. Information on the official Mall website also says “coming January 2026”, though no specific opening date has been confirmed.
Inside Honest Burgers on Clare Street
It will mark the third Honest Burgers venue for the Bristol area, with branches already found in Cabot Circus and on Clare Street. BristolLive reported in November that the restaurant chain had confirmed it would be opening in Cabot and Cribbs, with the Cabot Circus location opening on November 22.
It was also announced that the Cabot Circus site will feature a selection of beers from a local Bristol brewery and will launch its own local burger in collaboration with Tubby Tom’s, a South West artisanal sauce and seasoning supplier.
Co-founded by friends Tom Barton and Philip Eeles in Brighton in 2009, Honest Burgers started out cooking British burgers in a field at a local food festival. The following year Tom and Phil opened a tiny restaurant in Brixton Market (which is still there today), cycling eight miles every day to pick up the best beef available before their in-house butchery operation began.
Next to the Honest Burgers butchery is the Honest Kitchen, where all sauces, relishes, pickles, drinks and chips are made entirely from scratch every day.
