Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been spotted in public after being banned from royal family Christmas festivities.
The disgraced royal, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was on Monday photographed driving in Berkshire near Windsor Castle and Royal Lodge, Andrew’s longterm residence which he has been ordered to leave, per People.
In the image, the 65-year-old wore a blue jacket and a matching scarf as he drove alone.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Andrew drove a new Land Rover Defender reported to be worth £75,000 (AUD $151,317).
He was also seen driving to Windsor Castle on Christmas Day, as he missed the royal family’s traditional Christmas celebration in Sandringham.
He was then reportedly seen driving on Boxing Day.
Andrew’s lone outings come after he was excluded from the traditional royal family Christmas following the revived spotlight on his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew was recently stripped of all his royal titles, including his title as Prince, in the wake of fresh scrutiny.
King Charles said that “notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him”, he felt “these censures are deemed necessary”.

Despite splitting in 1996, Andrew and Sarah have remained close and continued to live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

However, their children Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie made their allegiance to the wider family clear spending Christmas day at Sandringham.
They joined King Charles and Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, the Wales family and other prominent members of the royal family for Christmas Day.

Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, together with their husbands joined the monarch on Thursday for the traditional walk down from the Sandringham Estate to St Mary Magdalene Church.
It isn’t the first time the sisters have chosen to celebrate the holiday with the royal family since their parents have been side-lined from Sandringham.
Previously Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have done the walk with son Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Woolf but, this year, the couple appeared solo.
