Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was spotted on Monday near Windsor Castle after he was barred from the royal family’s annual Christmas celebration at Sandringham, which occurred days earlier. In a new photo, the former Prince can be seen behind the wheel of his car.
His daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, have remained in the Windsor dynasty’s good graces following Andrew’s banishment. They were present for church services on Christmas Day, one of the family’s annual traditions.
In October, Buckingham Palace announced that Mountbatten-Windsor would be stripped of all royal titles and privileges in a historic move by his older brother, King Charles III.

“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew,” a statement from the palace read. “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.”
The same statement also confirmed that Mountbatten-Windsor would move out of his longtime residence at the Royal Lodge.
“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”

Andrew might have left Royal Lodge behind in order to protect his daughters, a November report speculated. Daily Mail revealed that the disgraced ex-royal was interested in preserving Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie’s standing with the family.
“It was made clear to Andrew that, while his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, would also lose her title, there would be no action taken against their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie,” the Mail reported on Nov. 13.
The publication also claimed that Beatrice and Eugenie are “allowed to accept new official royal roles” despite renewed interest in their father’s ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
