A man is wanted back behind bars after flouting the terms of his release. Anthony Bosenquet is wanted on a recall to prison after breaching his licence conditions having served part of a five-and-a-half year sentence for possession of a firearm.
Merseyside Police issued an appeal today, Friday, December 29, calling for information. The 58-year-old has a Liverpool accent, is of slim build with short black hair, brown eyes and facial hair that is likely be unshaven. He has links to Liverpool and the Wolverhampton area.
Bosenquet was previously jailed for 66 months after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm and possession of cannabis and cannabis resin with intent to supply.
Liverpool Crown Court was told a Skorpion submachine was found on March 2, 2023, inside a flat on Grey Road in Walton, where it was wrapped in a tea towel and concealed inside a black Under Armour rucksack in the bathroom.
A silencer and loaded magazines were also recovered by police.

The Skorpion had been used in two shootings in April 2022. In one incident, a woman in her 50s was shot in the leg in Wavertree.
A second shooting took place around a week later in Stoneycroft, where shots were fired through the front window of a house.
Bosenquet, who is also known as “Boz”, was a customer of a drugs operation linked to the case and was said to have had access to the flat where the weapon was stored.
